| Description | Our client is one of the leading refractive surgery / laser eye clinics in London responsible for ground breaking work in this field. They are currently looking for a full time person to fill their role as a Clinical coordinator / technician in Central London. This role would be suitable for any well experienced Optical Assistants or even a newly qualified Dispensing Optician. This is a very demanding and busy role so candidates need to be well organised and prepared to work hard. It is also a very rewarding company to work for and your hard work and effort will not go unnoticed. There are a lot of skills and techniques that candidates wont have experienced before in a retail opticians but full training will be given on all of these. The job role includes: Assisting the surgeon and clinic manager in the laser theatre (full training given) Counselling the patients before and after treatment Take technical measurements to help with clinical assessments (full training given) Administration of patient files and preparation for the clinic Help in customer call centre Patient co-ordination (follow-up letters, emails, phone calls etc.) Their ideal person would be: Well presented Speak good English Background in optics (DO/ practice manager or OA etc.) Can cope with pressure in a very busy clinic Is prepared to learn new skills quickly (full training given) Work as part of a close team If you would like further information regarding this vacancy or how we can help you as a candidate then please call Patrick on 0121 4550774 or email: Patrick@jonesoptical.co.uk |
